About Me
Jonny grew up in Menlo Park, CA. After graduating in 2015 with a B.A. from UCLA as a double major in Economics and Philosophy, Jonny began his career in management consulting at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). At BCG, Jonny worked on >10 cases covering a variety of verticals and business functions, and was promoted to the Post-MBA level, Consultant. After 3 years in consulting, Jonny then got an MA in Philosophy from Columbia University. While in graduate school, he worked as an independent consultant and case interview tutor and incubated the startup that would come to define his next chapter – Fanimal. Fanimal was a vertically integrated live events platform featuring both a consumer marketplace and a turnkey software suite for event organizers. As Co-Founder and CEO, Jonny raised nearly $10M of capital for Fanimal led by Pear VC, Bullpen Capital and Burst VC. After scaling to 13 FTEs, >250K users, >100 venue partners and $12M of annual sales, Fanimal was acquired by TickPick in 2024. After leading the tech integration and initial go to market efforts that resulted in a quadrupling of baseline revenue as GM of Primary Ticketing, Jonny left TickPick in the fall of 2025.
